Triangleplace.com is a web-based advertising service marketing residential rentals in the Triangle area of North Carolina. The market we target consists of Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, Apex, Morrisville, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, Pittsboro, Hillsborouh, Wake Forest, and Chatham.
Triangleplace.com seeks to host quality rental homes and town-homes and attract high quality tenants. We reach individuals and families relocating from all over the United States and the world.

How do I get started?
If you're looking for a property, just put your criteria in to the search bar and start looking. If you’re a property owner, start by registering with us for free. Your free registration allows you to submit your properties and their images. Shoppers/ buyers can registering with TrianglePlace for no cost, and you can keep track of your favorite properties and view them anytime.
To create an account,
Click on "Register for an account" button on top right corner of homepage. This action will take you to the "Create User" menu. Fill in the information and click "create user" at bottom of the page to create your account.
It is free to veiw listings on TrianglePlace.com. If you want to post a listing, the Regular listing on Triangleplace.com cost .50 cents a day. Feature Listings cost is $1 a day and puts your property on the front page of the site. You can't beat that!
How do I update my profile?
Once you log in and enter your administrative page, hit the “Edit Profile” button
What is the difference between Active, Under Contract, and Withdrawn?
“Active Ads” are the properties that are currently posted on the website for prospective tenants to view. "Under Contract" means that a new tenant is in the process of signing, or has signed a lease, but has not moved in yet. "Withdrawn" means that the property is no longer on the market.
How often is the website updated?
Whenever a change is made to a listing (i.e. added a listing, submitted images, etc), the website is updated, and the change shows up instantly.

How many visitors does TrianglePlace get?
Triangleplace.com is a dedicated site for residential rental homes in the Triangle area in North Carolina. We solely target the residential home rental market. Traffic is pure without all the other "noises". We are looking for a high traffic count, but we target a local market and believe that the quality of hits to the site is more important than the quantity. During the height of the rental season, our site can easily exceed 25,000 visits per month.
You can keep track of the number of views any of your listings has gotten on your Account main page, and you will receive emails directly from interested customers to whatever address you register on the website, so you can monitor your own traffic flow, as well as edit and ad to your listings based on the feedback you receive.
How do you promote/advertise TrianglePlace?
We continually position TrianglePlace.com top at leading search engines such as Google, Yahoo, MSN, and AOL. Regionally, we advertise in selected real estate relocation publications. Locally in the Triangle area, we advertise our services through word-of-mouth, as well as through Duke-UNC-NCSU univesity bulletins and forums, direct mailings, airwaves, local classifieds, business journals, and local newspapers. We also anchor at local universities like UNC, Duke, NCCU, and Wake Forest. We know the local area. We live here and we know where to go. None of the national advertising sites can provide this local knowlege base.

How many images can I upload for each property?
There is no limit on the number of photos per property, and photos can be included in your ad for no additional charge. You may present as many as you think is necessary to showcase your home in the best light possible. These photos can include the exterior and interior of the home, floor plans, etc. Remember, the important thing is the quality of the pictures over quantity. Useful and accurate pictures are what get the house rented.
If I get my house rented, can I save my leftover credits?
Yes. Pay only for what you use. Once a listing has been Withdrawn, it is no longer using credits from your account. Unused credits in your account can be used for other properties in your account, or saved for future use.
How do I make changes to my ad?
You can make changes online anytime. Just log in and you will have access to your “Manage Listings” page where you can manage images and edit, delete, and (de)activate the listing.
How long can I run my ad?:
Your ads will run as long as you have sufficient funds in your account. Each day, your account is debited based on the type of ad you have, Standard Listing or Feature Listing. The ad will run until you Withdraw the listing, or your fund runs out.
If your funds start running low (5 days of funds left) at any point in the ad cycle, we will automatically send you an email notifying you of this. You can then login and add more funds to your account. If you run out of credits before you get a chance to add more, don’t worry. Your listing is still saved. Once you add more credits and activate the listing, it will be posted online again.
How can I make my listing stand out more?
For as little as $1 a day, you can make your listing a “Featured Listing”, placing your property in front page of the site.
How do I include images for my properties?
When you log in, you will be taken to your administrative homepage. Scroll down to the property you wish to edit and click on the listing address. Then click on the “Manage Images” link under the list of editing options for your listing. Once there, hit the “Browse” button to find the image file on your computer, and upload each one with whatever caption you choose. To finish, click the "Save and Upload" images button at the bottom. When you are done editing, click My Account in the upper right of the screen to get back to your main administrative page.
(Note: the upload images screen allows you to upload 6 images at a time, but you can repeat the "Save and Upload" process over to add as many images to your listing as you need)
How will I be billed?
TrianglePlace is a pre-paid service. Whether you decide to pay via Paypal or with credit card, you will be email with a statement of your account with the amount deposited in your account at TrianglePlace. This email will serve as your receipt for the service. At any point in time if you require further assistance, you can always contact our staff (firstname.lastname@example.org).
How do people contact me if they are interested in my ads?
When you submit your profile, you can choose whether you want prospective tenants to contact you by phone, by email or both. If you decide to be contacted only be email, then only the email contact information will be shown in your listing. If you desire either (phone and/or email), your listing will have option for both. Make sure your contact information is current so you don't miss any leads
Property Search Questions
Do I need an account to view the listings?
No. The site does not require you to register if you are searching for rentals. However, by registering for an account, you can keep track of your “Favorites”.
Why aren’t there rentals available under my specifications??
TrianglePlace is a site that property managers and individual property owners use to list available properties. Inventory changes daily, and everything that is currently available from the managers and landlords that use our site are posted. If no ads come up in a search, then we currently do not have a property that fits your criteria. Please continue checking our website for new listings, properties are added every day!
How do I find a property?
You can use TrianglePlace’s powerful search engine to find what you’re looking for. You can search by city, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and rent, and even by number of garages. You can also sort search results by those characteristics. If you’re looking for something specific, use our Advanced Search option to find your exact match.
How do I use TrianglePlace?
TrianglePlace does not require your registration to view ads. All ads are free for viewing. Registration is required when you desire to add a property to "My Favorites" or you have property you want to list with us.
Once you find a property that you are interested in, you can directly contact the advertiser to request more details or a showing. The advertiser's contact information is found on the proeperty description page.
Property Manager Questions
How can I save with multiple properties?
At Triangleplace.com, the credits in your account are not specific to any one property - you can use them for any of your listings. Your advertising dollar pays for only what you have used. When you open an account at Triangleplace, you deposit an amount into your account. Your active listings will use credits, your withdrawn listings will not, they are saved for later. The money can be used for any property of your choosing. There is no fixed amount that needs to be spent on a property and no fixed time frame for a listing to run - you decide. There is no restriction to the number of properties you may have. This is quite ideal for owners and property managers who have lots of properties.
Can you help me list my properties? I have too many properties and do not have the time.
Yes. We have a service where we can setup the account and post each properties for you for a fee. Email us at email@example.com and we can provide you with an estimate.
How Can You Help Me Invoice Multiple Properties?
Property Managers or owners with multiple properties should contact our staff (firstname.lastname@example.org) so we can personally assist you in properly invoice you for your properties.
